Booklines Africa was incorporated in 2018 with its Head Office at Communications House, Plot 1, Colville Street, Kampala, Uganda. We started by exclusively representing world renowned academic publishers in sub-Saharan Africa (Wolters Kluwer Health, OVID Databases, UPTodate, Cengage Learning, Business Expert Press/ Momentum Press, Pluto Press and Salt-Way Global), but over time have evolved to represent a vast spectrum of all-round publishers globally across parts of Asia, Latin America, Australia & New Zealand, Europe, and the West Indies.
For General Trade publishers, Booklines is the vital link connecting publishers, booksellers and buyers. With our vast experience, we are able to identify the key demand trends of the many bookstores and bookshops we represent, and match those in an efficient manner with the books our publishers produce.
Booklines Africa also brings together academic publishers and institutions of higher learning through the provision of the most current text books and digital teaching / learning resources that are needed to fulfil the needs of students. Furthermore, in collaboration with our academic publishers, we also provide e-learning solutions based on courses offered by each university, and can be used as a standalone platform or integrated with the Learning Management System.
